The Bullets

Keith Blanket

Keith Blanket

The original Bullet, Keith has over 40 years experience in advertising and marketing, having honed his creative skills working in agencies both big and small. With advertising in his blood his career started at Foote Cone Belding, and then David Jones in-house agency, followed by McCann Erickson and Masius.

In 1980 he established Keith Blanket & Associates, a small advertising and promotions consultancy. In 1984 he started a 7 year period as a freelance consultant, first for creative hothouse Mojo and in 1990 Sleeman Whitaker Heckendorf and Potter. In 1991 he was asked to join SWH&P fulltime and in 1993 became a partner and director. In 1996 the agency changed its name to Oddfellows.

At the end of 1998 Keith left Oddfellows to start Bullet.

Keith's advertising and marketing experience covers the full spectrum, from the cut and thrust of day-to-day retail accounts to tourism, automotive, property clients and major brands.

Sandy Blanket

Sandy Blanket

The other founding Bullet, Sandy is Keith's partner in life and business. With an extensive background in film production and administration, Sandy keeps the agency's day-to-day operations functioning smoothly.

Her background includes a stint in media, publishing her own travel magazine, as well as 5 years running the June Dally-Watkins model agency.

A spell working in television production at J Walter Thomson was followed by 8 years managing the business at Keith Blanket and Associates and 4 years at the Federation of Australian Commercial Television Stations (FACTS) as a Senior Examiner ensuring compliance of television commercials to the industry's standards code.

Sandy helped form Bullet with Keith in 1998.

Danny Henderson

Danny Henderson

Danny joined Bullet in 2000 after following his passion for the environment with Clean Up Australia. Having started on a casual basis assisting with Toyota's National Tree Day activities, while still studying at Macquarie University, Danny's management skills and technological abilities quickly came to light.

Full time since 2002, Danny is now an integral member of the Bullet Team. Account Manager, IT Manager you name it, Danny will manage it and get it done! Danny has a passion for technology and also works on interactive CD/DVD's and creating animations.

When Danny isn't managing things he can be seen quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) sitting in front of a Mac utilising design skills that he's picked up along the way. When Danny grows up he's going to be a race car driver.

Kylea Preston

Kylea Preston

After travelling the world for a year on a working holiday, Kylea began at Bullet in June 2005 taking on several key clients including Toyota, Sydney City Toyota and Tennant Limited. Kylea is the office princess with other interests in shopping, shoes and shopping!

Rae Norman

Rae Norman

Rae has an extensive background in events, promotions, sponsorship and marketing.

She learnt the hands-on approach to marketing in the early stages of her career during her time in radio with the Austereo Network at stations Fox FM, 2Day FM and B105. With the introduction of Pay TV to Australia, Rae joined the marketing teams at Galaxy TV followed by 3 years with Optus Vision.

In early 1999 Rae joined the Sydney Paralympic Organising Committee, working with Games sponsors from a diverse range of industries including technology, FMCG, Government and retail. As a Sponsorship Account Manager, her primary role was to create and leverage the marketing opportunities available to sponsors.

Rae joined Bullet at the beginning of 2001 and now works part time while juggling the wants and demands of two small children.

Francesco Solfrini

Francesco Solfrini

Francesco is the “Italian player” of the team. He has marketing experience focused on Automotive Advertising.

In 2003, just before graduating in Communications, he started to work at Toyota Motor Italia in the National Advertising department. After less than one year he became Local Advertising Manager, being responsible for the Advertising of the Toyota and Lexus dealer networks. Francesco spent three years working at Toyota and then went on the Agency side. He joined McCann Erickson Italia where he worked on the General Motors and Cathay Pacific accounts.

At the end of 2006 he left Italy to engage himself in work experience overseas. Francesco joined Bullet in 2007, bringing an Italian flair into the company. Francesco is learning to surf, he likes photography and cooking: what a cliché!

Matthew Deeth

Matthew Deeth

Matt joined Bullet in early 2007 and runs our Design Studio. His combined expertise in graphic design and managing multiple briefs, enable Bullet to react to our clients design needs and demands without notice.

Before joining Bullet, Matt worked with a range of clients including University of Western Sydney, Feldman & Associates, AMP Retail and Clubs NSW. His skills cover many programs including Quark, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

You can see many samples of his recent work throughout this site.

Matt is a country boy and for reasons we don’t understand has a herd of camels for companionship.

Deb Chenney

Deb's career in marketing and promotions began in 1992 when, after studying and working as a teacher, she joined Toyota Motor Corporation Australia.

With an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management up her sleeve, Deb's passion is event management. During her 12 years at Toyota, Deb worked in various marketing roles. Specialising in service marketing, the role involved incentive development, website management, strategy development and implementation, and event planning and management. This position saw Deb working with, and utilising the services of many different advertising and promotions agencies.

Deb began working part time at Bullet in 2004 and enjoys an interesting and varied role working "for" the client, rather than "being" the client.
