In 2000 Bullet identified an opportunity for Toyota to gain a position and a foundation on which to build their environmental credentials and promote their environmental initiatives.
The result was a partnership with Planet Ark's National Tree Day, which Bullet Marketing helped to create Now arguably Australia's largest community tree-planting event, National Tree Day has grown beyond expectations, with over 1 million trees planted every year. It is the longest running commercial sponsorship of any environmental activity in Australia, and Bullet has been there since the very beginning.
Toyota's role in National Tree Day reflets its efforts to support both the environment and local communities through an event that has both a direct environmental impact and the capacity to influence attitudes.
As project managers on behalf of Toyota, Bullet works with Planet Ark, Toyota Dealers, media, local councils, conservation groups and celebrities. Bullet also operates as Toyota's Dealer Support Team, working closely with the Toyota Dealer network and supporting their efforts at a grass roots level. Additionally, Bullet is responsible for engaging the participation of all Toyota Dealers as well as a creating, managing and distributing a constant flow of communications, Marketing and promotional support materials.
Now one of Australia's largest community participation events, National Tree Day has grown beyond expectations, with over 10 million trees planted.
